Mini hydros are typically run of the river projects of less than 10MW capacity. Grid-connected mini hydro projects do not receive grant support under the RERED Project, but they access term loans from participating credit institutions (PCIs) to finance eligible expenditure, which in turn maybe refinanced from the RERED Credit Line.
